A ONE-BEDROOM house overlooking St Aubin’s Bay is up for sale… at a price of more than £1,000 per square foot.
The coastal property in St Lawrence, which is close to the Perquage car park, measures 21ft wide and just over 25ft deep: a total floor space of 438 sq ft.
The asking price of £450,000 equates to £1,027 per sq ft, above the equivalent figure of £800 for flats in the luxury Horizon development at the Waterfront.
Last month, the JEP highlighted the sale of a seaside cottage at Rozel Harbour, which measures 300 sq ft and had an asking price of £500,000.
Broadlands has subsequently removed the property from its website and it is understood a sale is being negotiated.
Estate agent Wilsons Knight Frank is selling the St Lawrence property, which is described on the company’s website as “bright and airy, full of character”, and representing “an exciting, rare opportunity to own a beautiful seaside cottage facing straight out to sea and just ten steps onto the beach”.
